Kamala Harris and allies raise $1 billion in third quarter; she outspends Trump in September

Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign and its allied committees raised more than $1 billion in the third quarter, a record that arms her with a significant war chest to outspend former President Donald Trump, according to Federal Election Commission filings posted late Sunday.
